Really really fantastic well built and slim profile in the portion that becomes part of the top of your desk. Nice and wide and also versatile if you want to switch it for the broader angle or if you want to attach it horizontally instead of veritcallyIts sturdy, the hinge is sturdy, when it folds up its tight and snug. It works just as advertised.Very sturdily made and is solid metal. I love that i can clamp it vertically or horizontally as well as the face that it flips up to save space when not being used. Overall i think its a steal for the price and better than the plastic options on here that i wasn't a fan of.I don't have a lot of space on my desktop because I have a crap ton of things up here. The long story short is: four monitors, two PC towers, seven consoles. A standard upright headset holder wasn't going to work so I just kind of gave up on them and forgot about it. Perhaps a week ago, a friend posted their desktop stand headset holder and this clamp holder was one of the recommended items. In the cart it went.Two screws hold the clamp hardware to the "headset shelf," as it were. These can be removed and the clamp rotated to attach the unit in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. It ships in the vertical orientation.It took me about 60 seconds to set up. I used the included hex key to tighten the screws (just in case) and the lengthiest part about the whole process was unscrewing the clamp because the thread is so fine. Pop it on the shelf, couple turns on the clamp, done. About 2 minutes from opening the Prime envelope to putting my headset on it.It's made out of a very high quality coated steel that reminds me of a monitor mount or gunmetal. The weakest point is definitely the hinge, and if it were to break at all it would certainly happen there. That said, make sure it's not mounted somewhere where you could potentially hit it with your arm or leg. You will definitely break off the little shelf.Very happy. Reusable clamp. Saves ton of desk space. Good quality. Will certainly update if anything goes south.Only thing close to a con- it is annoying that it can retract, so on rare occasion it somehow retracts (getting kicked? idk), you have to pull it down before you can rest your headphones.Stays on amazingly!!!! It is very strong and it incredibly useful! I also love that it folds. The only problem is it not as cushioned as I thought it would be, and left a little mark on my Razor Quartz headset. After awhile the mark decreases but a bit is still worn down. I totally recommend getting this instead of a headset stand, I got a Razor headset stand and it does the same thing!! Very sleek and sturdy!!I bought one of these so I can have a place to hang my big headphones. I was very impressed with it so ended up buying a second one. I use them to hold several things from cables to my backpack.I highly recommend this item.I wear my headphones a lot whether gaming or watching any of the streaming services. When I take them off I set them on my desk or drape them over my monitor and they are just in the way. This headphone stand/hook is perfect. I've got it attached to the side of my desk and am able to hang the headphones there when not in use. I also like that the hook can be locked in an up position so it's out of the way when not using it.Holds well to desk (Ikea Malm), is tall enough to support desk thickness, and retracts when not in use! Brilliant item and quality is up there.Almost perfect, excellent build quality - soft material where it clamps on the desk and also on the stand itself, fantastic for avoiding surface scratches. Only flaw is that the stand does not stay "retracted" when flipped up, seems like a big miss by the manufacturers.Fits onto thicker shelves, folds up when not in use, and sturdily holds my headphones out of the way helping to prevent the cable from twisting.Very impressed and pleased by the quality of this.Appears to be very sturdy, strong, and also very easy to install onto a desk or shelf. The clamp features a rubber pad, as well as foam applied to the mounting bracket, both of which assure a stable and secure mount without damaging any of the surfaces it makes contact with. The mount also folds up when not in use; very handy and much appreciated feature.I currently use it to hang two sets of Bluetooth headsets. Works as intended without any issues whatsoever.Very satisfied withh this purchase, I used to leave my headphones on top of my pc and it used to bother me that it was just lying there. The product is very easy to install and hasn't left any marks on my desk so far!
